Dark Legion's Rules & Protocols
The Law of the Land
There are 25 ranks, each person is to be treated equally and fairly.
In this gaming clan a person is not a hacker until proven a hacker.
Dark Legion is an invite only clan and any person may be denied
membership to this clan for any reason, such as but not limited
to: past history, clan hopping, hacking, creating a new clan, and
attempting to ruin this community.
Forum Rules
Main Rules
- Spamming or flooding the forums is not tolerated.
- Disrespectful content is not acceptable, this includes but is
not limited to: racial slurs, racial remarks, and excessive profanity.
- All threads on the message board are required to be posted
under the appropriate forums. (eg: Main forum, Off Topic, Gaming
Forums, etc.)
- Sympathy posts are not allowed, these include, but are not
limited to, 'Should I stay with clan?' and 'I've been reprimanded and I
don't think it is fair' posts. Please take these issues up in private
with the appropriate person(s).
- Non-members receive less leniency. Warnings are not guaranteed and a first offense may result in full banishment.
Privileged Forums
People who are higher ranked have more privileges over enlisted
members, such as Officer Forums. These forums are private for a reason,
the discussions in these forums are to remain private, and Officers are
restricted from discussing it with non-Officers. Breaching this rule
may result in removal from the status given, and a demotion, this
covers the Administration, Recruiter, Co-Leader, CAL, TWL, and any
special forums.
Forum pictures
Human Photographs:
The person in the picture must be clothed enough to not show any pubic
hair or genitalia; or wearing clothing that a is see-through, or
wearing clothing that depicts pubic hair and/or genitalia, irregardless
if that person is covering parts of their bodies with other body parts
including hair, hands, arms, legs. This includes links to other sites,
directly posted images, avatars, signatures, floating images, any
images shared through a medium owned or ran by Dark Legion.
Other Images: Images such as but not limited to: hangings,
lynchings, burnings, stomps, draggings, rape, torture, dead bodies,
mutilated bodies, animal cruelty or other highly suggestive pictures of
anything mentioned are also not allowed. Administrators have the right
to take action over any image posted regardless of the nature of the
image as the administrator sees fit.
Membership
Recruiting
- Staff Sergeant and ranks higher can recruit members into Dark Legion.

- A valid e-mail address is required for members along with a username based off the Battle.Net standard.
- Usernames must not contain any profanity or other inapropriate terms in them.
- A person's original recruiter is responsible for the new member
Member Duties
- Members
are responsible for their account, any action taken under someone's
account is to be dealt with as if the original creator of that account
did the action.
- No multiple accounts per person
- No sharing accounts with other people

Disablement, Punishment, & Bannings
- A
member may be disabled, punished, or banned for breaking any rules
listed on this page, or for other reasons not listed here at the
discretion of the Commanders.
- An action taken against a member can be disputed by talking
with the action taker and with other Generals, in private, in a
profesional manner.
- A person who has had an action taken against them is not
allowed to make a new account or join under a new name to avoid the
punishment.
Undisablement, Ban Lift, Punishment Removal
- If
a member was disabled for not logging in, and wishes to re-join they
must consult their recruiter or any General.
- If the database has been purged since the person was disabled
then the person must provide their original recruiter, original name,
and the original date recruited.
- Awards are allowed to the undisabled if there is proof of
receiving them, but a general may decide they do not have to be
given back.
- If a member was disabled by a General for breaking a
rule and that person wishes to re-join, that person must consult with
the person who originally disabled them and have them un-disable that
member.
- Any other sort of punishment can be removed at the discretion of the punisher and Generals.
Hacking
Hacking is defined as using any software, cheat, script, exploit,
or action that is forbidden by the game's creator in the Terms of
Service and/or by actions taken by the game's creator. Any attempt to
make the game do anything outside the creator's original intent that is
forbidden by the original creator, is considered a hack.
Harassment
Neither sexual, racial, religionist, taunting, or personal harassment
will not be tolerated. This covers voice, text, and graphic
communication. We are a gaming clan here to have fun, we are not
here to harm.
Name Changes
Name changes are not usually allowed, but there may be special
circumstances, if you must change your name you must contact any
Administrator once you get their permission, contact your original
recruiter and have them re-recruit you into the clan. You will not
receive your rank, days, or awards back. You will start fresh with a
new account.
Please
obey and follow all of these global rules, they are here to help and
better the clan, not to restrain you from your personal freedoms.
