Installing and setting up ventrilo
1, Getting Ventrilo is simple just go to www.ventrilo.com and click on 'downloads' and download the client version of Ventrilo.
2, Installation:
Hit 'OK' once its downloaded, then start setup.
Hit 'Next'
Check the 'I accept the license Agrement'
Hit 'Next'
Type in your name
No organization is needed
Then hit 'Next'
Hit 'Next'
Once it finishes installing this will happen
You have now installed Ventrilo, click finish
3, Setup:
Click on the arrow right of the 'User Name' box
Click 'New'
Then type in your name, once done click 'OK'
Type in your name in 'Phonetic'
Click on the arrow right of the 'Server' box
Then click 'New'
Then click 'OK'
Hostname:vent30.gameservers.com
Port Number: 4348
Then click 'OK'
Now click on 'Setup'
Check the 'Use Push-To-Talk Hotkey' button, then click on the box and make the button DIFFERENT than the one in in-game (ex: Counter-Strike microphone button is 'K' don't use your Ventrilo 'Hotkey' 'K')
Now click 'OK'
Now click 'Connect'
