Xfire Help
First off, you will need to download xfire. You can download it here.
Next, you’ll double click on the installer wherever you downloaded it to, mine was on the desktop: 
Double-click on the installer, and go through the instructions to set it up.
After it’s installed, return to the site http://www.xfire.com and sign-up.
After signing up and verifying your account, log into the site. From there, you’ll go to your profile, from here, click on ‘EDIT PROFILE'

From there, you can edit all sorts of various things for your profile, such as your location, age, and they also have a utility that will auto-detect all of your computers hardware, and post it for everyone else to see, or you can list it yourself.
After editing your profile with the appropriate information, it is now to immerse yourself further into the clan of Dark Legion. Your next step is to visit this part of xfire:
http://www.xfire.com/clans/darklegion
Now, your next step is to apply for membership.

Submit your application with your DL name in the provided textbox, and simply wait for your application to be accepted, or you may contact one of the commanders or generals listed and they’ll gladly accept you.

Now that you’re in the clan, or atleast applied for the clan, it’s time to change your nickname!
Firstly, open your xfire client.

Next, you’ll want to click on Tools, and continue to options

Now that you’ve clicked on ‘Options’ a new window will open, in it, you’ll find immediately the ‘General’ option at the top will be a ‘Nickname’ textbox will be available. Type your name in and hit ‘Okay’. The usual format for the nickname is
dL – Yournamehere

Verification
Verifying is an important part of Xfire’s usage of the clan feature. First off, when you try to apply, if not already verified, it will pop up a new screen, looking like this:

Click on the Verify youremail button, and proceed to check your email. In it will be a message similar to this:

From here, you will copy the code from Number 2 (or just click link one to make it easy), and go back to your verification window which should look like this:

Simply put in your code, and submit! You’re now verified to use Xfire!
